Available throughout the academic year, on-campus recruiting is as near
as your phone or your computer. Peak periods occur during October, November,
February, and March. Although many employers
schedule visits months in advance, last-minute visits can usually be accommodated.
OrangeLink and the Center for Career Services
Much on-campus recruiting activity is managed through the web-based system,
OrangeLink, and is coordinated by the Center for Career Services. Position and employer descriptions are made
available to students online,
and they apply for consideration by posting a resume that employers may view online.
Schedules are maintained online for both employers and candidates. Notices of presentations and pre-interview meetings
are also accessible to students through this system. Email
Debi Walker, Assistant Director for Recruitment Services, or call her at (315) 443-9092,
to alert her that you would like to explore
visiting Syracuse to recruit our students. She will be happy to discuss
all the details that can make your visit smooth and productive!
Recruiting in specific schools and colleges at Syracuse
Employers are always welcome to connect with the career offices in specific schools and colleges with
inquiries about recruiting their students. Network members work collaboratively to market all Syracuse students and to assist the employers we all value so much.
The Center for Career Services does not coordinate on-campus recruiting for Syracuse's College of Law, its Maxwell
School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, or its School of Architecture. Employers wishing to consider students in these programs should connect
directly with the career Services office in the College
of Law, the Maxwell School, and the
School of Architecture.
Employers specifically interested in cooperative education students from
Syracuse's College of Engineering and Computer Science should call (315)
443-2239 to discuss this program and arrangements for recruiting its students.
Thank you for your interest in recruiting Syracuse students!
