Presentations
and Pre-Interview Meetings
Presentations. Students clearly benefit from information
presented by employers in person, especially if such meetings occur in
advance of resume submittal deadlines. Members of the Career Services Network can arrange such meetings
and target the students you wish to meet with appropriate publicity.
Pre-Interview Meetings. Many employers have found that holding
an information session before their on-campus interviews (usually the evening
before) helps make students more aware of their organizational culture
and structure, and gives them a better understanding of how they might
contribute to the company. Special seminars and in-class presentations
can also be arranged.
For those employers who may be coordinating their visits through the Center for Career Services, please
explore or arrange such a session by emailing
Sue Catanesye, the Center's Recruiting Coordinator, or calling her at (315)
443-2009,
to arrange for an information session or to receive additional information.
Employers working through individual schools and colleges of the University should contact the
appropriate person in these college-based offices for assistance.
Those employers
who may be unsure of the best way to reach Syracuse students may always
email Debi Walker, Assistant Director for Recruitment and Employer Relations in the Center for Career Services, or call
her at (315) 443-9092, to discuss recruitment strategies and processes at Syracuse.
