Viewing resumes online can make the selection of candidates easier and more timely. At Syracuse, there are a
number of instances when such viewing can facilitate recruitment:
- In support of campus recruiting coordinated through the Center for Career Services, resumes can be viewed online
thanks to the OrangeLink system. For more details of this service, read on-campus recruiting.
- Employers who know their needs in advance, but may not be able to commit to a visit to Syracuse, can still view
student application materials through what is called a resume exchange. Email
Debi Walker , Assistant Director for Recruitment Services at the Center for Career Services, or call her at (315) 443-9092
to discuss details of resume exchanges.
- The OrangeLink system also allows for the set up of "online resume books" based on students'
career interest areas. Employers wishing to browse these resumes
need a password for access. Email
Debi Walker, Assistant Director for Recruitment Services at the Center for Career Services, or call her at (315) 443-9092
to discuss details of this method of access.
Students from across the university are encouraged to use the OrangeLink system for access to employer needs and to place resumes online accordingly.
Employers are always encouraged to connect with professionals in the various
college-based career offices to fine tune their recruiting efforts.
